Sau altfel spus, noul film cu Johnny Depp in rolul principal, avand premiera in 21 decembrie 2007. Am cautat pe net un synopsis cat de cat acceptabil al filmului in limba romana, dar, in mod suprinzator (sau nu), nu am gasit, asa ca tot pe IMDb ne bazam si pentru asta: "Based on the 19th century legend of Sweeney Todd and the hit Broadway musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Sweeney Todd a.k.a Benjamin Barker returns to London after being sent away by Judge Turpin with the help of a sailor, Anthony Hope. He opens a barber shop above Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pie Shop were she sells "the worst pies in London." With the help of Mrs. Lovett, Todd tries to rid of all the people who have ever done him wrong and hopes to be reunited with his daughter, Joanna, who is now Judge Turpin's ward."
Acum tot ce sper e ca si in Romania (de fapt in Cluj) sa apara in cinematograf cat mai repede (ceea ce aproape ca nici nu pare atat de fantastic, dat fiind faptul ca "Piratii din Caraibe III" rula la cinema Victoria in aceeasi saptamana in care a avut premiera mondiala, vara asta, asa ca... sperante sunt).
